1. Text you enter
Typing, importing, counting, cleaning and exporting happen in your browser. The editor does not send your text, file contents or filenames to a server or analytics event. By default, closing the tab clears your work. Browser extensions and other software installed on your device operate separately.
2. Optional draft storage
Turning on “Save draft on this device” stores your draft and preference in browser localStorage. The draft can be restored on the same site in the same browser. Turning it off deletes the stored draft. You can also clear the site’s data in your browser. Turn this off after use on a shared device.
3. Advertising, analytics and fonts
Google AdSense serves advertising; Google Analytics 4 processes page visits and events such as which tool was used; Google Fonts provides typefaces. These external services may receive IP addresses, browser/device information and page information, and may use cookies or similar technology depending on settings and consent. Editor text and find/replace strings are not included in analytics events.

4. Your choices
You can turn off draft storage or clear the site’s browser data. Where Google consent messages are configured, use the message or the Privacy choices button in the footer to change your selection. Blocking ads or analytics does not disable the core text tools. You control files downloaded to your device.
5. Server connections
Serving web pages involves connection information such as IP addresses, requested URLs and request times at the hosting server. There is no application database for storing editor text and no member account system.
Language preferences and navigation
Your interface language preference may be stored in this browser. When you switch language, text, recent edit history and tool settings are temporarily kept in this tab’s sessionStorage, then consumed and removed by the destination page. They are not sent to the server. Language-aware word counts depend on browser support.
